2 cups finely chopped raw apples
half cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins


Place apples in large mixing bowl. Add sugar, stir, and let stand for 30 mins.
Add rest of ingredients and blend well. Pour into 8-9 inch square pan.
Bake at 190c degrees for 35 minutes. This will be a very moist cake.
sprinkled icing sugar over  the top or cream. Enjoy
