Ingredients
600 grams blood orange
2 pieces of lemon
3 cups (750 ml) cold water
4 cup (900 grams) granulated sugar

Preparation
A day in advance, wash oranges and lemons thoroughly,cut in half. with a sharp knife remove the seeds. Slice very thin like moon shapes.Remove any remaining seeds. add orange and lemon slices into a deep pot . Add cold water .Cover the saucepan and soak for at least 12 hours at room temperature. This process softens the shells of orange, In the skin of the orange naturally pectin will be found.
Place the pot on the stove the next day.Then boil over medium heat 30 minutes with no lid.Add sugar and stir with a spoon until melted. Jam begins to boil rapidly to reduce the heat a bit.Between 45 and 60 minutes  continue the boiling process.
When you see  large bubbles and slightly darker the syrup is ready to be removed from the stove top.Place in sterilized jars immediately. Enjoy (Dont forget to have couple glass jars handy for jam
